Prisma
Bristol, England, 2019
Solid bog oak and sycamore
Approx. 90 × 44 × 100 cm
The Prisma Console Table is a striking study in contrast and balance, uniting two distinctly different woods to explore the interplay of light and dark, symmetry and disruption. Its sculptural base features two intersecting prisms crafted from 5,000-year-old bog oak – an ancient, exceptionally hard wood with a deep charcoal-black hue sourced from the East Anglian Fens. The tabletop and drawer, made from pale sycamore, offer a soft counterpoint, creating a harmonious yet dynamic statement piece.
