Landscape Marble Brooch - No. 24

This evocative brooch by jewellery artist Michele White is handcrafted in silver with fine 18ct gold detailing and set with rare Cotham marble - a type of limestone found only in the area around Bristol. The stone’s intricate natural markings form the image of a tall tree rising against a grey sky, its shapes mirrored by the large tangled silver tree that frames the scene to the left. Flowing textures and subtle gold accents complete the composition, bringing stone and metal together in a beautiful layered miniature artwork.
