Carved from a single piece of oak, this striking wing sculpture is shaped by the artist’s intuitive process and the natural character of the wood. Beginning with a rough outline, the form was gradually refined to emphasise the organic curves and contours inherent in the timber. Expert staining and controlled burning techniques enhance the grain, creating a sensuous contrast between warm blonde highlights and deep charred browns. Mounted on a sleek steel base, the sculpture appears to hover just above the surface, making it a captivating focal point in any space.
