This Seigaiha Sake Box retains a unified form whether open or closed. When shut, it presents a minimalistic cuboid shape. Once opened, its curved doors pin to the sides, revealing flowing lines that form the iconic Japanese Seigaiha wave pattern.

The interior features Richlite, a compressed paper material, and a handmade patinated mirror. The exterior is crafted from laminated brown oak veneer, with carefully aligned grain patterns that follow the wave motif across all surfaces. Subtle fuming enhances the layered veneer, deepening the colour as it transitions toward the dark interior.
