Return of the Cuckoo is a richly detailed silver necklace inspired by nature. At the centre of the pendant is a cuckoo nestled among layered foliage and finely worked surface detail.
The pendant is built up from individually cut layers of silver which give it real depth and a bold, graphic quality. Oxidised areas deepen into shadow against bright polished silver, while small touches of 18ct gold add flashes of warmth across the surface.
Three vivid green tourmalines are set into the pendant, their colour picked up by a strand of faceted peridot beads which give the necklace a lively, organic feel.
