Goodbye 2022 & Welcome 2023!

Happy New Year!

It's that time again already but forget the January blues, we've got lots of things for you to be excited about here at Artisan Alchemy. Take a look below to find out more...

Jewellery Quarter Christmas Window Trail 2022

For our 2022 JQ BID Christmas Window Trail we wanted to go all out! Inspired by a glistening snowy day our very own team at Artisan Alchemy created this hand drawn design, accompanied by a bit of tinsel and a few festive favourites!

This year the JQBID supported Change into Action, the alternative giving scheme that supports specialist charities in helping rough sleepers across the West Midlands.

It's been so great to hear your lovely feedback and we are super proud to be a part of this wonderful event with over 75 other local businesses.

Here are a few close ups of our window.. enjoy!

Upcoming Events

During the coming year, we will be showcasing the work of a number of jewellers whose jewellery was exhibited alongside Michele at Milan Jewellery Week.

At the end of October 2022, Michele was delighted to be asked to show her work at Milano Jewellery Week, the yearly event entirely dedicated to the world of jewellery. Through different events, Milano Jewellery Week develops within exclusive and evocative locations in the city: historic buildings, high jewellery ateliers, goldsmith workshops, academies, art galleries, fashion boutiques and design show.

Milano Jewellery Week creates moments of exchange and interaction, captivating trade operators and at the same time putting the whole public of enthusiasts and curious in contact with the world of jewels. It is a great opportunity to expand your network, exchange knowledge, establish relationships with potential customers, get in touch with new markets and enhance your brand identity.

Michele met many talented jewellers and is excited to announce that we will be welcoming a selection of them to hold talks right here at Artisan Alchemy.

Look out for updates via our social media and newsletter.

What's New?

 From the left:

The Swallowtail Table Lamp by Roland Smith Furniture is made with maple and satin walnut as a development of the three-finned structure found in some of his other work. We love how it looks just as beautiful when not lit up.

Kered Winder's Bamboo & American Rose Ash Serving Tray is light in weight with a bamboo base, American rose ash frame and curved handles on opposing sides. You’ll be serving food and drinks with ease and style.

These beautiful Christmas Trees were turned from a whole branch by Nicholas Rowe. This skilful process accentuates the grain of the wood whilst some of the external bark can still be found at the base of the trees. Perfect for any table top or mantelpiece.

From the left:

Anna de Ville's wonderful Cuckoo Necklace is handmade right here at the workshop in Artisan Alchemy! The silver pendant depicts a beautifully detailed cuckoo with lapis lazuli and turquoise. Hanging from lapis lazuli beads.

These Silver Long Strip Clustered Earrings by Mizuki Takahashi consist of four curved strips cross each other to create this beautifully simple design. Inspired by Mizuki's playful practice with paper

The Silver Flow Ring is made by Dovile Kondrasovaite in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. Carefully designed to fit the middle finger this sculptural silver ring will definitely make a statement!
