Coming up this Summer...

Keep your eyes peeled this summer!

Of course there's the occasional shower but
we're glad to welcome back the sun and lighter evenings.
There are lots of exhibitions and events to keep an eye out for this summer including Desire Fair, The Jewellery Quarter Festival
and the Platinum Jubilee Walkway.
Take a look below to see what we have lined up!

SEE MICHELE'S WORK AT DESIRE FAIR

Desire Fair is finally back!
This weekend 27th-29th May, come down to Chelsea Old Town Hall to see and purchase work from around 100 of the UK's finest designer makers. Book now and save using discount code CIFV22.

Desire has become firmly established as the “must visit” event for its stunning collection and unrivalled choice of contemporary jewellery and stylish silverware.

The fairs present highly talented exhibitors who have been selected for their superb and innovative craftsmanship and have a genuine passion for the work they create.

See and purchase from an exciting range from both emerging British talent as well as more established designer makers.

Visitors to Desire have often commented on how they welcome the opportunity of discussing a purchase direct with the maker, and listening to what inspires them in their work, rather than simply purchasing mass produced work from an in store display.  Discussion with the makers will reveal that each piece is the result of an exciting mix of inspiration, discovery and creative talent, which will give an understanding that every piece has its own unique story.

Michele is very excited to be showcasing a range of her work, some classic pieces and some new designs.
The fair is open between 10am-5pm, don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to see so many talented makers under one roof!

ARTISAN ALCHEMY ON THE BIRMINGHAM PLATINUM JUBILEE WALKWAY

A special 22km Platinum Walkway in Birmingham has been announced to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The Lord Lieutenant of the West Midlands has announced a special Platinum Walkway in Birmingham to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee which every resident and visitor can enjoy before, during and after the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Along the route, walkers will see well-known landmarks such as Centenary Square, the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter, the Black Sabbath Bench in Broad Street and a section of the Worcester and Birmingham Canal. The University of Birmingham, Edgbaston Cricket Ground and Cannon Hill Park are also some of the 20 highlights connected by the 22km circular route (approximately 13 miles).

These bronze markers, containing the Queen’s EIIR royal cypher, are to be installed permanently along the route during March and a panel will also be designed and installed to promote the route at a central Birmingham location.

Here at Artisan Alchemy, we're excited to be featured along the Platinum Jubilee walkway! As a showcase of the finest furniture and jewellery the UK has to offer, it seems only right that our wonderful Gallery is part of this celebration of Birmingham!
